Welcome To Rolling Hills Animal Hospital

2027 Suffolk Road Finksburg Maryland

We care about your pet’s health as much as you do.

Diagnostic Medicine

Laboratory Services
Our in-house lab lets us quickly run tests for your pet, like checking for Heartworm, Lyme, and Ehrlichia in dogs, and FIV/Felv in cats. We can also do complete blood counts, blood chemistry, and check how well your pet’s blood clots. We can get results fast, so we can start care right away.

For special tests, we use Idexx Laboratories, which gives us answers with-in a few days. This means your pet gets the most accurate diagnosis without long waits.

Digital Radiography
Digital X-rays help our veterinarians see your pet’s bones, heart, lungs, stomach, and urinary system. This helps us find health issues quickly and clearly. If needed, we can also arrange for an ultrasound at our hospital to give us even more information about your pet’s condition.

Radiology and Internal Medicine Consult

Sometimes, your pet’s case needs extra help. We have access to more than 60 expert consultants in radiology, cardiology, and other specialties. This means your pet gets the best advice and care, leading to faster and more accurate treatment.

Dental Radiology
Dental X-rays are very important for your pet’s health. They help us see problems under the gum line that can’t be seen just by looking in the mouth. Some benefits include:

  • Finding broken teeth and deciding if they need to be removed.
  • Seeing infections or abscesses that could be missed otherwise.
  • Checking inside discolored teeth for hidden issues.
  • Helping the vet make sure all parts of a tooth are removed during extraction.
  • Discovering if missing teeth have roots that need attention.
  • Checking the health of bone around teeth, which is especially important for older pets.

Dental radiology helps keep your pet’s mouth healthy and helps prevent pain and disease.

Ultrasound
If your pet needs an ultrasound, we can schedule it right here at our hospital. A board-certified radiologist reviews the results, helping us figure out the best treatment for your pet.

If your pet is sick and needs help, we have the tools to find out what’s wrong and how to help. Our caring team will guide you in choosing the best treatment so your pet can feel better quickly. Here’s how we help:

  • Quick diagnosis: We can check blood work and take X-rays right in our clinic to find problems fast.
  • Hospital care: If your pet needs to stay at the clinic, we can provide a safe place for them to recover.
  • Special treatments: Our veterinarians can give IV fluids and medicine and watch your pet closely to make sure they get better.
  • Easy transfers: If your pet needs to go to another hospital, we’ll help make the move as smooth as possible.

Your pet will get caring, professional attention, and all the support they need to feel better as soon as possible.
